Unfortunately, this game is quite heavy, reaching 1 GB. The time that must be spent to download this game is relatively long, depending on internet speed.
I also had to wait longer when opening the game for the first time. Only a wallpaper image appears with a splashing icon in the bottom right corner, whether it’s downloading an update or something.
In “Battle Mode”, you will play single-player with 5 stages in a row. There will be three characters that can be used in the same match, and you can alternate characters while the battle is in progress, aka tag-in. Characters who are not selected will recover their heat slowly.
Of course, you can also play multi-player, namely in “Faction Wars” mode. After entering your username, you are asked to choose one of five factions, namely Black Dragon, Brotherhood of Shadows, Lin Kuei, Special Forces, and White Lotus.
If your faction manages to collect the most battle points, you will get a reward at the end of each week. The fighting mechanics in this game are unfortunately really simplified.
This is different from the Mortal Kombat game on PC or console where we can combine combos as freely as we can. In this Android game, you can only attack enemies by tapping and occasionally swiping.
However, every time you use a “move”, there will be a scene that requires you to perform a quick action precisely to maximize the damage output.
What I like about Mortal Kombat:
Cinematic fight scenes
Many iconic characters from the Mortal Kombat franchise
High graphic quality
Things to note about Mortal Kombat:
Not suitable for children, the “finisher” scene is full of blood and mutilation
Large file size
Game performance tends to be less smooth for potato cellphones
Cannot play multi-player in real-time or play with friends
Very simplified combat, optimized for mobile use.
In my opinion, The Simpsons: Tapped Out is one of the smartest games ever. This is a satire made by the writers of The Simpsons, on the city-building simulation genre, in the form of the city-building game itself.
The city-building simulation game mechanism in this game is quite standard. What makes it interesting is the dialogue between the characters which is ironic and funny.
At the start of the game, we will see Homer commenting that playing a city-building simulation game is a waste of time, while he is playing a city-building game.
Due to his preoccupation with playing toktoto during work time, Homer, who should have been monitoring nuclear conditions at that time, instead ignored the danger warnings so that the nuclear explosion could not be prevented. The explosion throws the whole city into chaos and Homer has to return the city to how it was before. Yes, just like city-building games.
During the tutorial, I had to ask Homer to build a house to unlock Lisa, his daughter. Every house, building and action required me to wait in real time. Sometimes it only takes a few seconds, it can also take hours.
